Since 1959, The Limeliters’ best albums have been recorded live. You can be part off their newest live album. Join us for one (or both) of these very special concerts.
The Limeliters launched their career in 1959 at San Francisco’s famous “Hungry i” nightclub and emerged as one of the dominant voices of the early 60’s folk music scene. They’ve been delighting audiences worldwide ever since, with their soaring vocal blend, eclectic repertoire and rousing live shows. Time Magazine summed up their appeal with the following memorable quote: “If the button down scrubbed looking Kingston Trio are the undergraduates of big-time folk singing, The Limeliters are the faculty.” Over the course of seven decades, the band has never deviated from the iconic sound that they pioneered. Combining beloved, timeless folk songs with new tunes, arranged in the classic style, current members Andy Corwin, Daniel Boling and Steve Brooks — all three of whom are award winning songwriters in their own right — remain as exciting an act as the genre has produced. Now more than ever, the surging vocals, thrilling harmony, and screwball sense of humor of this unique trio continue to earn them their title as…“The ‘Fabulous’ Limeliters.”.
There is no event parking available at the studio. Parking is available in nearby Guadalupe Street parking lots, in the municipal lot next to Allsups gas station, and ample parking is always available across the street from the studio at the DeVargas Mall.
