COMMON GROUND GATHERING

Our Common Ground Gathering brings together New Mexico musicians from our state’s historical triad of Indigenous, Hispanic and Anglo cultures—plus a dose of the“World Music” that has influenced and in turn been influenced by New Mexico. Musicians representing these various cultural perspectives and practices will gather for public performances, storytelling and cross cultural dialogues emphasizing the themes of connection, collaboration and historical identity. Look for impromptu Railyard popups by these artists:

AGALU, TIOS MIOS, LARA MANZANARES, JACOB SHIJE, JONO MANSON, AKEEM AYANNIYI & KOBIANA NAKIGAN, MICHAEL KOTT, JESUS VALASQUEZ, DELBERT ANDERSON, OKCATE SMITH McCOMMAS & more

The Common Ground Gathering is sponsored, in part, by New Mexico Spirit. Special thanks to the Levitt Family Foundation for its support.
