    improvisational grooves & soundscapes

528 Jose Street, Santa Fe, NM
    Kitchen Sink Studio
    7:00 doors, 7:30 show

Sonospheric combines digital, analog, and acoustic instruments to create compelling grooves and soundscapes.  Their original compositions unfold in cinematic gestures as the performers listen carefully to one another and improvise on the spot. A new project featuring some of the best and most established instrumentalists in Santa Fe, New Mexico,  bandleader Dave Wayne (Orn Etc, Shake Alert) plays drums and drum machine, jazz bassist and composer Casey Andersen (The Mitochondriacs) plays contrabass and synthesizer, and classical pianist and composer Grisha Krivchenia (Lifesongs, Finding Refuge) plays keys with and without digital processing. The aggregate effect is adventurous yet accessible, inviting dance as well as contemplation.

Presented in collaboration with Santa Fe Performance Exchange & Kitchen Sink Studio.
