Purposely timeless yet anachronistic, a sort of aural steampunk.
–Santa Fe New Mexican
Son of Town Hall is the unique and unusual union of Santa Fe’s own David Berkeley and London’s Ben Parker. Parker, a highly sought-after songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist and Berkeley, a celebrated singer/songwriter/guitarist/author, create a world that is complete with Victorian-era outfits, meditations about the sea, and songs that beg you to sing along. The show is three parts concert, one part theater. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll jump aboard the metaphoric raft. This is the duo’s only show in New Mexico. Son of Town Hall recorded its first set of songs at the old Kitchen Sink in Chupadero, NM and they intend to record this concert for a possible future live release. Be part of history.
Presented in collaboration with Santa Fe Performance Exchange & Kitchen Sink Studio.
